In February 2009, “Quality Education Fund” (QEF) approved the application for fund from “Association of Mobile Technology and Education” and 11 pilot schools for “Mobile Learning”. The total amount of fund is over HK$2 mil. Infinity Mobile Control (IMC) was selected as the key operation system for “Mobile Learning”. Infinity Mobile Control (IMC) was specially designed for the use within school wireless network and UMPCs/Net PCs. The teachers and students will find it very simple to operate with one single hand concept with touch screen of UMPC/Net PC under Wi-Fi environment. The degree of interactivity and mobility during teaching and learning can be increased, then every corner at school can become a Multimedia Learning Center. Such above pilot school project will start at the beginning of May 2009. All the results, including the pedagogical methods and teaching materials would be shared for other schools.
