1.           Q : What requirements in software and hardware are necessary for the installation of Infinity Text Speech?

Software：

(a)   Infinity Text Speech can be installed on Microsoft Windows 2000 with SP4, Windows XP Professional and Office 2000/XP/2003

(b)   NOT supporting Windows 98/Me/NT, and Office 97

Hardware：

(a)   Pentium 3 processor 600 MHz or above

(b)   128 MB of RAM or above

(c)   100MB Ethernet card

(d)   Sound card

(e)   Display card

(f)     DVD ROM

(g)   1.5GB Hard disc space

2.           Q： When click “Install Products” , then “Application Setup has failed.  If the problem persists, please contact Product Support.” appears, what is the solution?

A：this problem exists in Windows 2000 and Windows XP due to the pre-installation of Microsoft .Net framework 1.1. Chinese (Traditional) Lang. Pack” and “Microsoft .Net framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB886903)”. Therefore we can :

              -                Either method 1：firstly remove “Microsoft .Net framework 1.1 Chinese (Traditional) Lang. Pack”，and then install Infinity Text Speech.

              -                Or method 2：Directly install Infinity Text Speech from the DVD disc, thus “TextSpeech.msi” .

3.           Q：When click start of Text Speech,  “The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.” appears, what is the solution?

A：“Microsoft .Net framework 1.1” is existing in our DVD disc of Infinity Text Speech and will be installed automatically.  In case you have uninstall  “Microsoft .Net framework 1.1” after the installation of Infinity Text Speech, the above dialogue box of error message will prompt out. You can install this “Microsoft .Net framework 1.1”, then Infinity Text Speech will run normally.
